Travelling to Cape Breton By Air: Cape Breton is served by major Canadian Airlines through Sydney Airport. International flights from all major U.S. and Canadian destinations will be connected directly through Halifax, Nova Scotia. Air Canada also has direct flights from London, England to Halifax and from Hamilton Bermuda. Iceland Air has flights to Halifax from most major European cities through Reykjavik. People flying into North America on other international airlines can connect to Nova Scotia destinations through "Air Canada". Car rentals are availble at Sydney and Halifax Airports. It is advisable to book these in advance. Travel time from Sydney to Dingwall is about 21/2 hours and from Halifax, about 6 hours. Set aside some extra time to stop and take pictures!
